MojoMonday challenge

This is my first sketch challenge for the coming year.
It is from Mojomonday.blogspot.com.au
I turned the sketch on itside.  As it will also be entered into scrapbookboutiquenews.blogspot.com.au
I have used the colours Red, green and white.
I did it as a birthday card because lots of people have their birthday at Christmas time.
I embossed the white strip on the side as a ribbon. The green folage was cut from the Cricut the inked with distress green ink then glimmer misted with perfect pearls white.  I punched small butterflies and added them to ribbon.

I used and image from the On the Broadwalk range of paper by Ghrapic 45.

Wintering over.

It has been quite a time since I have put a post on here.
We spend most of last year away from home.
We were in New Zealand for my mothers 90th birthday. Were only going for 4 weeks and ended up staying for 8.
We then drove up to Darwin for the winter then over to Palm Cove. Left home mid June and got back late November.
We are staying at home for most of this year so I will endevour to put more posts up for any challenges that I enter and display anything that I create.

Yes I will put up the album that I made for my mothers birthday.  I am very proud of what Iachieved with it.

Time

Its Feb 2012 and I have just not been keeping in touch with my blog.
Well bend me over spank me.  I am going to try to be more effienct this years and put messages adn pics up on here. Even if it is only each week.
I do hope that everyone is well and wish them a wonderful new year.

Cricut cards Challenge #90

Here is my entry for this weeks challenge.
I have used A childs year for card. Then used vellum under the snow flakes cutout and used Frosted lace Spickles on the vellum. I used White opal liquid pearls over the holes to look like snow flakes. I heat embossed the snowflakes with a luminous powder then used gold thread to make them look like christmas decoration.

#12 Anything gores

I designed and constructed this plaque for my scrapn space on sunday 21st August 2011.
Then I saw this challenge and thought yes it would be a wonderful item to enter for it.
I love the mix of colours I have used and the gold framing.
