Scrapbook Boutique Jan Challenge

The challenge was to was to use the photo as inspiration. Using the colours yellow, green and white.  I struggled with it trying to use the photo as a guide to design a card.  I ended up making this card.  It was my first attempt at colouring a stamped image.
I am quite proude of it.


I am disappointed now.  Its 7.40pm EAST 3/01/2012  and I am to o late to post this entry.  I thought they finished on the 31st Jan at midnight.  Oh well on ward to next months challenge.

I have made this card for my partner for Valentines day.
It is an extra large card for him as he has very limited sight. Hense the dark and light tones.

I used DCWV Mariposa paper.
The paper is beautiful so I kept is simple.
Just fussy cut some small butterflies to embellish it.

I have used Graphic 45 paper for the images. It was nice to challenge myslef to a round card.

Mojomonday 274

Well I am stumped today.
I have scanned and saved to file my interpation of this weeks sketch.
But when I go to insert the image on to my Blog it is not showing that I can get it from a file on my computer.
It only shows upload in red the under that from blog, picasa, phone,webcam and a url.
I think I am having a senior moment. Very annoying. I have shut everything down several times and still no luck.
I will try again later.
